How to get Novell Suse Linux running at 1400 by 900 on a MacBook Pro
How to get Novell Suse Linux running at 1400 by 900 on a MacBook Pro
I was pleasantly supprised when I purchased the APC October edition and found that the Novell Suse linux (NSL) distro they gave away on their dvd worked very well under Parallels. I have previously mentioned that some distros are difficult to get running at 1400 by 900 (the native resolution on a mac book pro) but I managed to get this working without 2 much pain.
So with out any further ado this is what is involved.
Click on the computer start icon in the left hand corner.

Select the Graphics card and Monitor application icon

This will start the SaX2: X11 configuration app
select the Monitor option

select Apple Multiple Scan 15 (M3089LL/A)

Save the changes and then Shut down the parallels installation (log out - shutdown from SNL) re start the Parallels
